Contact Us
We welcome your inquiries regarding the products and
services of Farmers and Merchants Bank and we will be happy to
respond to your questions. However, please read the following
important e-mail disclosure before proceeding:
Private personal and account information such as Account
Numbers, Passwords, PINs or Social Security Numbers should NOT be
sent by e-mail. If you have a question about your account or need an
immediate response, please call us at one of our locations.
FARMERS AND MERCHANTS BANK DOES NOT REQUEST CUSTOMER INFORMATION VIA
EMAIL OR POP UP WINDOW. If you receive an email asking for personal
information, please delete it and notify your branch as soon as
possible.
If you have disclosed sensitive information in an email scam, you
should contact one of the three major credit bureaus and discuss
whether you need to place a fraud alert on your file, which will
help prevent thieves from opening a new account in your name. Here
is contact information for each bureau’s fraud division:
Equifax – 800-525-6285
Experian – 888-397-3742
TransUnion – 800-680-7289
Report all suspicious contacts to the Federal Trade Commission by
calling 1-877-IDTHEFT.
The Bank recognizes e-mail as a simple and cost effective method of
communication; however, requests and inquiries requiring immediate
attention should NOT be sent by e-mail. A bank representative may
not be able to immediately review your e-mail message. E-mail
messages will not serve as a sufficient method for any requirement
imposed on you to provide written notice, nor may any e-mail
messages be used to place a stop payment on a check, cancel a bill
payment, request account transfers, or report lost or stolen banking
codes, cards or checks.
Again, thank-you for your inquiry regarding the services of Farmers
and Merchants Bank.
