Farmers and Merchants Bank Presents Gift to Baxter Regional Medical Center Foundation

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR – The Baxter Healthy Foundation will benefit from a $5,000 sponsorship donation for the upcoming Buck-a-Roo Ball from Farmers and Merchants Bank.Members of the Farmers & Merchants team recently presented the check.

The gift will support the Buck-a-Roo Ball, a fundraiser for the Baxter Health Foundation’s Lend-A-Hand initiative. Lend-A-Hand is part of the medical center’s four unique community health education and support houses, which include women’s health education, Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, and support for patients and families coping with cancer or diabetes. Thanks to the tireless work of the hospital foundation, the majority of programs and services offered are free of charge to the local community.

Tickets are now on sale for the event. The fundraiser will include entertainment from Nashville’s Jason Cross, a mechanical bull and best dressed contests, dancing, and a barbeque dinner.

“Quality healthcare is critical to the well-being and growth of our community”, commented Farmers and Merchants Bank Market President Sally Gilbert. “The houses support families in need and go hand-in-hand with Baxter Health’s commitment to exceptional care. We are proud to partner with Baxter Health to keep the North Arkansas community healthy!”
