The Board of Directors of Farmers & Merchants Bank and The Bank of Fayetteville announces the recent promotion of two employees to key leadership roles. Kim Tucker will serve as Corporate Security and BSA Director and Lydia Frizzell will serve as the organization’s General Counsel.

Lydia Frizzell is the General Counsel for Farmers and Merchants Bank and The Bank of Fayetteville. A native of Dewitt, Frizzell holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and is a 2019 graduate of the William H. In addition to her work at the bank, Frizzell is an active member of the Junior Women’s Club and First United Methodist Church in Dewitt.

“As our institution has grown, the need for having General Counsel on staff has become imperative”, commented President and CEO Brad Chambless. “Lydia has a brilliant mind, and she has made an immediate impact at our bank and holding company.”

Kim Tucker will serve as the Corporate Security & BSA Director under the direction of the bank’s Chief Risk Officer. She comes to her new position with 23 years of financial industry experience. She has extensive knowledge in information security, physical security and fraud. Tucker joined Farmers and Merchants Bank in 2019 and previously worked as the Vice President Security Lead.

Tucker is a graduate of Southeast Arkansas College and is an alumnus of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking from Southern Methodist University.

In addition to her work at the bank, Tucker serves the Pine Bluff regional community as a member of the Daughters of the Nile and Anahara, which supports hospitals and health initiatives of Shriners International.

"Kim has a proven track record as a security lead, with a strong work ethic and exceptional talent for identifying fraud and security risks,” explained Chief Risk Officer Tyler Morgan. “Her ability to coordinate diverse teams in order to achieve strategic objectives has been a key factor in her success. With her deep knowledge of security, fraud, and BSA, as well as her exceptional leadership skills, Kim is the perfect candidate to assume this critical role for the bank.”
