POSTPONED: Farmers & Merchants Bank to Host Ribbon Cutting

More Hours in More Places to Serve Growing Jonesboro Market

STUTTGART, AR – To better serve our Northeast Arkansas customers, Farmers and Merchants Bank is proud to announce the grand opening of a new branch at Southwest Drive and Parker Road in Jonesboro. A ribbon cutting is scheduled on Wednesday, June 22 at 10 am with the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The new Southwest Drive location provides added convenience to customers in the growing Jonesboro market area. The branch has a staffed lobby for retail transactions, open M-F from 9-4:30, along with new MeBanking Virtual Pro (MVP) interactive teller machines.

The MeBanking Virtual Pro Centers, which look similar to ATMs, allow customers to conduct financial services remotely with a live, local teller through interactive video conferencing. These transactions, typically reserved for inside a branch, include account withdrawals, cash or check deposits, and account transfers. MVP virtual tellers can also help customers make loan or online bill payments, reset online banking passwords, and order checks.

In addition to these everyday transactions, MVP virtual tellers can also help customers set travel limits, close a lost or stolen card and issue a replacement. The MVP Centers provide convenient banking to customers and non-customers alike in English and Spanish. MVPs offer extended banking hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. ATM features are available 24/7.

All Northeast Arkansas customers are invited to attend the upcoming ribbon cutting event on June 22nd. Tours and demonstrations of the MVP interactive teller machines will be available. Light refreshments will be served.
