Miller, Self Promoted to Officer in Western Market

Farmers & Merchants Bank is pleased to announce that two employees have been promoted to officer positions in the Western Market. Leslie Self now serves as Vice President, Credit Administration Officer and Kathleen Miller has been named to the role of Consumer Loan Officer.

Kathleen Miller was recently promoted to the role of consumer loan officer for Farmers and Merchants Bank’s   Western market, specializing in personal and real estate lending in Morrilton and Perryville.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM), Miller started her career in the banking industry nearly eight years ago with Farmers and Merchants Bank. Miller has previously served as a teller, retail banker, loan assistant and real estate advisor before being promoted to consumer loan officer.

Miller resides in St. Vincent with her husband and two children. In addition to her work at the bank, Miller is a member of the Conway/Perry County Realtors Association. She has also given back to the local community as a volunteer firefighter for the past 17 years. 

Leslie Self, Vice President has been named to the position of Credit Administration Officer. A Conway County native, Self is an alumnus of Nemo Vista High School and Arkansas Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business. Self is also an alumnus of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU in Dallas. 

Self started her career in the financial industry more than 25 years ago. Since joining the Farmers and Merchants Bank team in 2008, she worked as a branch manager and credit risk manager before accepting her new role as VP, Credit Administration Officer.

Outside the bank, Self is involved with the local community as a board Member for the Conway County Center for Exceptional Children. She is also a past board member of the Morrilton Rotary Club.
